For the second time in less than a year, 101 Modeling agent Robert Moran has been accused of rape by a former member of his talent roster while she was under the influence of alcohol.

Tess Thompson, 22, told PornCrush Saturday that she was barely conscious and unable to speak or move as Moran penetrated her from behind in a Huntington Beach hotel room on Oct. 13.

Thompson said she passed out during the encounter—it occurred following an afternoon of drinking at a nearby bar—and later awoke to discover Moran standing naked beside the bed. When she asked him what had happened, Thompson said the agent began laughing hysterically.

“Just suck my dick,” she said Moran told her. “Just suck my dick.”

Still somewhat disoriented, Thompson refused and then walked onto the balcony to collect her thoughts. She noticed that her left knee was bruised and swollen, presumably, she said, from it being pinned against the wooden baseboard of the hotel bed.

Thompson went back inside and confronted Moran again about what had unfolded. She said he confirmed that they’d had intercourse and then told Thompson he’d ejaculated inside of her.

“He said, ‘I came inside you, and you’re going to get pregnant,’” Thompson said. “He told me he wanted me to have his babies.”

When Thompson expressed anger and asked Moran why he would do such a thing without her consent, she said he laughed once again.

“I’m a monster!” she said he told her.

Thompson said she quickly dressed and left the room, stopping in the hotel lobby to charge her phone. She then called Penthouse executive Sam Phillips, whose home is known as a safe haven for models who have nowhere else to turn.

“She was in hysterics,” Phillips told PornCrush.

Phillips had never met Thompson—she’d been living at the 101 Modeling House—and had only spoken to her once by phone. But she insisted that Thompson take an Uber to her home. Thompson arrived just after 2 a.m. and allowed Phillips to take photographs of her injured knee before attempting to piece together what had happened. Even though she knew she should’ve contacted the police, Thompson was fearful.

“Mentally,” she said, “I just didn’t feel strong enough to do it. I was terrified of not being believed.”

Things changed last week, when Thompson mustered the courage to drive to the Huntington Beach Police Department to share her story with detectives. She has another meeting with them scheduled for Monday.

“I just haven’t been able to stop thinking about it,” Thompson said. “Like, why protect this person? What happened wasn’t right. This isn’t the kind of thing you bottle up and keep to yourself.

“I needed to let it out.”

Moran, 47, did not respond to a text message from PornCrush late Saturday evening seeking comment.

Thompson’s encounter with Moran comes less than one year after the controversial agent—he founded 101 Modeling in 2011—was accused of raping another one of his models, Lilith Grace, at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas in January.

Grace filed a police report the following day but was later told there wasn’t enough evidence to pursue charges against her former agent, mostly because she’d admitted to becoming intoxicated while drinking with Moran and that there was no way to prove their sexual encounter wasn’t consensual.

Thompson realizes that she also faces long odds in her pursuit to have charges filed against Moran—partially because she waited two months to alert authorities. Still, even if Moran isn’t arrested, Thompson said simply having her complaint documented could serve a purpose.

“Robert is a dangerous person,” Thompson said. “He’s not safe to be around and people need to know it.”

Prior to the alleged assault in October, Thompson had the exact opposite opinion of Moran. In fact, she said he was one of the main people she came to trust after joining the industry in the spring of 2025.

On at least four occasions, Thompson said Moran traveled to her hometown of San Diego—where she lived at the time—to pick her up and drive her to shoots in Los Angeles. They also traveled to Las Vegas together when Thompson had a booking, and she said she always enjoyed Moran’s company. She said he loved to crack jokes and talk about music. At times he would compliment her outfits or appearance, but never in a flirtatious way.

“I just thought he was this odd, kinda ditzy guy,” Thompson said. “But he was fun to be around. He never hit on me or made me feel uncomfortable. I genuinely thought of him as a friend.”

That’s why Thompson didn’t hesitate to confide in Moran on Sunday, Oct. 12 when she became uncomfortable with the living arrangements at the 101 model house.

“It just felt creepy there,” Thompson told PornCrush. “The vibe was off and I didn’t feel like I could stay there anymore.”

Moran connected her with Phillips to talk about the possibility of renting a room at her home. Perhaps hoping to lift her spirits, Moran then invited Thompson to join him on a trip the next day to Huntington Beach, where he was dropping 101 model Lola Valentine off for a shoot.

Moran told Thompson they could get food and hang out on the beach until Valentine was finished working. Thompson thought it sounded like fun, and by 11 a.m. the next day she and Moran were sipping bloody marys at a Mexican restaurant near the main drag. After two drinks they relocated to a beach bar and ordered cocktails. When Moran started becoming flirtatious, Thompson concedes that she flirted back and even allowed Moran to kiss her.

“I didn’t think much of it,” she said. “We were having fun.”

Thompson left the bar briefly to wade in the ocean, and when she returned, Moran was waiting with a shot.

And a bizarre comment.

“I just remember him saying, in this really crazy voice, ‘I’m the devil!’” Thompson said. “I was like, ‘Huh?’ and then he said it again: ‘I’m the devil!’ Then he let out this big, awkward laugh. I didn’t know what to think.”

Thompson took the shot, and that’s when things got fuzzy. She doesn’t remember leaving the bar or checking into the nearby Pasea Hotel and Spa, although sometime in between, perhaps during a stop at a liquor store, she recalls Moran asking what kind of alcohol she wanted. When she was unable to speak, Thompson alleges Moran laughed and said, ‘OK, Tito’s it is!’

Thompson’s next memory is of her standing on the hotel roof, which she’d accessed by climbing over the rail of her balcony.

“I just remember things coming into focus and I was like, ‘Oh my God! I’m on a fucking roof! How did I get here?’” Thompson said.

She said Moran summoned her back inside and asked her to perform oral sex on him. When she obliged, Moran turned on his cell phone camera and began recording Thompson as she serviced him. She said Moran told her to look into the camera and say how much fun she was having.

“101 is, like, the best agency in the world,” Thompson says in the video.

Thompson said she performed fellatio on Moran for only a few minutes before he went into the restroom and returned with the bottle of liquor so Thompson could take another shot.

“At that point,” Thompson said, “everything went black.”

Thompson says she was unable to move or communicate as Moran penetrated her from behind. Thompson said she was bent over onto the bed, with her right knee on the mattress while her left knee pressed against the wooden baseboard.

“The best way to describe it is that it felt like I was dreaming,” she said. “I knew it was happening, but I couldn’t say anything or move or do anything. It was, like, an out of body experience. I felt all this pressure on my knee and I wanted to squirm, but I couldn’t.”

After Thompson awoke and told Moran she wanted to leave, the agent told her she’d have nowhere to go. It was well past midnight and past curfew back at the 101 model house, so she wouldn’t be allowed inside. And Phillips, he said, was likely asleep and unreachable. Fortunately that wasn’t the case, as Phillips awoke and answered Thompson’s call.

Throughout the following days and weeks, bits and pieces of what happened that afternoon and night came back into focus, although there are still things that Thompson doesn’t remember.

She hasn’t spoken to Moran—not even by text—since the alleged assault. She said she explained what happened to 101 booking agents Fran Amidor and Bud Lee and was appalled at their response.

“I wish I never talked to them,” Thompson said. “They kinda messed me up, to be honest. Just hearing their responses, and how they were making me feel stupid for getting drunk … like it was partially my fault. Just because a girl is drunk doesn’t mean it’s OK for someone to assault her. Especially her agent.

“Fran was like, ‘Just remember, you guys are both adults, and you can’t make bad decisions like that and put yourself in that situation.”

Thompson said she felt nauseous for weeks after the alleged assault. She hated how weak and vulnerable and weak it made her feel.

She was also disgusted to learn that Moran had sent the video he recorded of her performing oral sex on him to others, and that it eventually made its way back to the 101 model house. One performer even mocked her by tweeting, “101 is, like, the best agency!” which were the exact words she’d uttered in the video.

A promising star whose scenes receive rave reviews from critics, Thompson began shooting again after a brief hiatus to heal both physically and mentally. She is now represented by OC Modeling, and her career is trending upward.

Still, until now, she hasn’t been able to shake the trauma of what happened to her on Oct. 13. She’s hoping that going public with details of the alleged assault will help drive Moran out of the adult industry.

It’s a shame, she said, that it didn't occur back in January.

“What happened with Lilith should’ve been plenty of reason for him to be gone,” Thompson said. “That was really bad. Now it’s happened again. At some point Robert has got to pay some sort of penalty, whether it’s jail or losing his agency or whatever.

“Clearly, this is a pattern with him. And until people stop ignoring it, it’s going to keep happening, again and again.”
