One of the biggest head-turners at the XBIZ festivities in Miami last week was Armani Black—and not just because the buxom brunette is looking hotter than ever.

Simply put, we hadn’t seen her in awhile.

A former AVN Best New Starlet and MILF of the Year nominee, Black is returning to studio porn after a nearly two-year hiatus.  Like an antsy horse in a stable, Black said she’s ready to “let loose.”

“Mommy is back,” the 34-year-old Black told PornCrush Sunday. “I’ve got so much energy built up. I’m ready to go full throttle. I feel refreshed.

“Shooting content is nice for directing and freedom, but my heart has always been with studio scenes and production.”

Black was actually slated to return in November, but a health scare forced her to put her plans on hold. For nearly three years, Black had been bothered by a lump she’d discovered in her right breast. When she scheduled an appointment to have her implants replaced, the doctor agreed to remove the lump.

But when Black woke up after surgery, he informed her that he didn’t.

“He was like, ‘I never made any promises,'” Black said.

Even worse, Black said she was dissatisfied with the appearance of her new breasts, saying she “got botched.”

For the next few months, the lump began to cause Black more and more discomfort. She visited multiple doctors who told her not to worry, but she knew something was wrong. Eventually, she found an oncologist who diagnosed her condition as troublesome and told her she needed to have a biopsy.

A new doctor—“a better one,” she says—took out her implants and removed the lump. A few months later, after getting the go-ahead from her oncologist, Black had the implants re-inserted to her liking.

“I was teetering on the cancer category,” Black said. “I knew something was wrong, and I had to get it taken care of.

“The whole thing was a strong example of why women should advocate for themselves. For a while, no one wanted to do anything. Doctors kept saying, ‘Just keep an eye on it. Just watch it.’  It was a scary situation, and no one should have to live like that. I needed to make something happen.”

Now fully healed, Black was impossible not to notice as she walked through the pool area at Miami's Nautilus Hotel Tuesday afternoon. Numerous photographers and old friends asked her to pose for pictures—and it was the same story later that night at Ryan Pownall’s star-studded “Kickback” party at a mansion a few miles away.

A few days later, she was a guest on Pownall’s “Pillow Talk w/ Ryan” podcast.

“I was not expecting that type of welcome,” Black said.

Black may have surprised—but no one else was. Just as she was three years ago, Armani Black is impossible to ignore.
