HOLLYWOOD—Winning the award for Female Performer of the Year is one of the toughest things to do in the adult industry.

But you know what’s even harder?

Winning it again.

Especially the very next year.

Complacency can set in along with both physical and mental fatigue. The mere thought of shooting 100-plus scenes for a second consecutive year can be draining. Taking your foot off the gas pedal isn’t just understood, it’s encouraged.

Apparently, no one mentioned that to Anna Claire Clouds.

One year after capturing the industry’s most-coveted crown, Clouds finds herself among the favorites once again to win Female Performer of the Year.

AVN announced Thursday that Clouds is nominated in 11 categories for its upcoming awards show—the most of any performer. Perhaps most impressive is that Clouds is among the finalists in each of the four most-prominent scene categories: Best Boy-Girl, Best Girl-Girl, Best Oral, and Best Anal. She’s also nominated for Best Leading Actress for her role in the highly acclaimed feature “Clout” from Wicked Pictures, the cherry on top of a resume that illustrates her elite versatility and range.

At press time, Clouds had 80 film credits on IAFD in 2025, making her one of the most prolific performers in the industry, even during a year when she devoted more attention to her personal life. Clouds—who shot more than 100 scenes in 2024—got married in the spring.

“She took a few breaks but still ended up having a great year,” said Clouds’ agent, Mark Spiegler, who noted that she also received 13 nominations from XBIZ. “Then again, a lot of our girls had great years.”

Indeed, Jennifer White and Chanel Camryn finished just behind Clouds with 10 and nine nominations, respectively. Fellow Spiegler girls Kylie Rocket, Lilly Bell, and Gal Ritchie—last year’s Best New Starlet—scored seven nominations each.

Insiders consider White to be on the shortlist of favorites to win the award, as she worked for virtually every major studio—and in every genre—in 2025 while also writing and performing in her own showcase, a masterpiece for Elegant Angel titled “Hollywood Whore.”

Another top candidate will undoubtedly be Blake Blossom, a vivacious, A-list performer who did as good a job commandeering last year’s AVN Awards as any host in recent memory. Blossom has been a workhorse throughout her time in the industry, averaging more than 100 scenes per year since her debut in 2020. She has 105 scene credits in 2025 and is nominated in marquee categories, including Best Oral, Best Boy-Girl, and Best Leading Actress.
