LAS VEGAS—Emma Rose has no plans to end her career in studio porn.

But she’s definitely ready for a break after a four-year stretch in which she worked tirelessly to become one of the most popular and prolific trans performers in history.

Rose tells PornCrush that she’s hitting the “pause” button and will step away from studio shoots entirely in 2025 while focusing solely on self-produced content.

“I was working through a lot of burnout (in 2024),” Rose says. “I was like, “OK, I definitely need to take time for myself and not just run myself ragged.’”

Rose’s decision is understandable.

Since her debut in 2020, Rose has shot nearly 400 scenes and become an ambassador of sorts for the industry’s trans community. She is constantly in demand for podcasts, appearances, and photo shoots. She co-hosted the 2024 XBIZ awards show and has trouble walking more than a few feet at conventions and industry events without being stopped for pictures and autograph requests.

Rose won back-to-back Trans Performer of the Year awards from both AVN and XBIZ in 2023 and 2024 before scaling back on her shooting schedule over the past 12 months. Still, she was nominated for multiple awards for “Emma Rose: Discovering Myself,” an Adult Time showcase that featured some of the best work of her career.

“My volume went down (in 2024),” Rose says, “but I feel like I did better quality work instead of just pounding (scenes) out.”

Rose, 28, said one of her biggest goals in 2025 is to spend more time outside. Even though she won’t be shooting for studios, Rose said she’ll still treat her fans to a steady dose of content.

“I’ll be working on my own production company, my own scenes,” she says. “I want to do something creative, and I’m going to start streaming, as well.”
