Some rising stars ease into the business. Lucy Mochi is sprinting.

Born and raised in China before relocating to Texas—and now splitting her time between the Lone Star State and Los Angeles—the fluent-in-Mandarin 25-year-old parlayed a broke-college-kid experiment posting faceless nudes on Reddit into a booming OnlyFans following. This past March she made the leap to studio work, and she hasn’t looked back, already shooting for the likes of Vixen and filming her first anal scene for Brazzers.

Captain Jack: Tell me about Lucy Mochi.

Lucy Mochi: I was born and raised in China; I lived there for about 10 years. Then I moved to Texas. Right now, I’m splitting my time between Texas and LA. I am fluent in Mandarin; I also speak some Chinese. I’ve been doing my own content for a few years now but I officially started shooting studio scenes starting in March.

CJ: How old are you?

Lucy: I’m 25.

CJ: Were you a very sexual person before you entered the industry?

Lucy: I definitely was but I think like a lot of my fellow Asians, I was pretty repressed because my parents were your very standard, very strict, very stereotypical Chinese parents. I would get accused of being provocative if I wore spaghetti straps. It was very much like, ‘Oh, who are you getting dressed up for?’ if I just wanted to curl my hair. My mom would accuse me of trying to hook up with people. I was in high school at the time so that was an insane accusation to throw at a teenager.

CJ: Were you with girls before porn?

Lucy: No, I’ve been curious but, to be honest, I was a shy, nerdy girl in high school. I would approach anyone even if I was attracted to them. So, honestly, my sex life before porn, my body count was one! (laughs) Very, very little experience with either gender but I was always curious. I think doing OF was a good way for me to experience that because collabs were just starting to become a thing between amateur creators when I got on there. I was like, ‘Wow!’ (laughs)

CJ: How long ago did you start OnlyFans?

Lucy: Since 2021. I was in college at the time and just struggling to pay rent. I saw that other girls were making some good pocket change on OF and, plus, I had wanted to start posting on Reddit just for the excitement of it. So, I started posting faceless nudes on Reddit just for fun and also to see where it goes. That’s how I blew up at first!

CJ: You were pretty repressed because of your parents; did you just do that to be rebellious?

Lucy: Yeah, after getting into college, I’m finally away from my parents; my mom was calling me a whore just for having that one sexual encounter already so I said, ‘You know what? I’m going to be a whore!’ And so, I just kind of jumped in. It felt sneaky but fun.

CJ: Since your parents are so strict, what do they think of your career now?

Lucy: They definitely know. Someone threatened to send my content to my whole family including my siblings. So, I called my dad and said, ‘I do porn. But, before you freak out, you need to block this number on everyone’s phone!’ I expected them to blow up but he was very understanding. He said, ‘Obviously we don’t like it but at the end of the day, we can’t stop you and as long as you’re not doing anything illegal and you’re staying safe, then we’re happy for you. And let’s never talk about it again!’ ‘OK, done!’

CJ: Why did you take the next step and get into porn?

Lucy: There was a certain project that always piqued my interest. It was Hentai, the horror porn studio. I always thought that was so much fun and so different from what I was used to. That’s what piqued my interest at first but then, I fell in love with Vixen’s shooting style as well. I just wanted more range than just popping my phone on a tripod and fucking myself with a dildo for 10 minutes. I just wanted to have fun with it, to be honest. OF, financially, is everything you could ask for but, one, I wanted to be the next big thing in porn. That’s always been a goal of mine because I just think it’s so much fun being a porn star. Although it would be amazing to be porn’s next big thing, I also just want to have fun. I want to see where this journey takes me.

CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?

Lucy: I’ve always had a thing for Mochi. I really like it, it’s really sweet. And I have a sweet tooth but also, being in porn, I’m always being consumed so it’s like naming myself after a sweet Asian treat. I align myself with being some people’s sweet Asian treat. (laughs)

CJ: You said you fucked yourself with a dildo on OnlyFans, did you also shoot boy/girl content?

Lucy: I did, yes! My story is the person that I had my first sexual encounter with is still my main stunt dick now so we’ve been off and on. He’s still my stunt dick today. I was definitely sweating. I remember the production assistant was helping me getting me lube or taking wardrobe for me and they noticed the sweat on my hands. I was nervous; I was anxious because there were so many people. It was a big set for one of the most prestigious beautiful production studios that exists. I was like, ‘What am I doing here? CJ: You’re only in your mid-20s and a lot of the guys in porn are older. Does it ever bother you to work with older men?

He was honestly one of the most attractive people as well. It doesn’t bother me at all.
