The call to Lilly Bell came from an unknown number, but when the man on the line identified himself as “George,” the adult star was certain she knew who it was.
“I thought it was a guy delivering my Postmates order,” Bell says.
Instead George Jiries presented Bell with something much more appealing. The right-hand man to high-profile agent Mark Spiegler, Jiries was calling to invite Bell to join the most-prestigious stable of performers in all of porn.
Six weeks later, the transaction became official.
Lilly Bell is now a Spiegler girl.
She was added to the agency website this week.
“It was a no-brainer,” Bell tells PornCrush. “I wanted representation that would push me to the best companies for the best scenes with the best rates. And there’s no question: Spiegler is the best.”
“Deep down,” she says. “I’ve always seen myself as a Spiegler girl.”
Beneficial as the move could be for Bell, landing a performer of Bell’s ilk is also a huge coup for Spiegler.
A petite, blue-eyed blonde, Bell is fresh off her best year in the adult industry to date. She was nominated in seven categories—including Female Performer of the Year—at the 40th Annual AVN Awards in January and has appeared in more than 200 scenes in the past two years.
Bell, 27, is consistently lauded for her acting ability as well as her professionalism and maturity on set. Director Jacky St. James once called Bell “a Godsend to the adult industry.”
“Every bit of feedback we’ve gotten about Lilly is positive,” Spiegler tells PornCrush. “She’s easy-going, professional, versatile and just a joy to be around. Her work speaks for itself, and I know she’s ready to take her career to an even higher level.”
Bell is already off to a fast start in 2023. She has two prominent roles in upcoming films for Dorcel—including one in April that will be shot in Paris—and has even bigger plans for the spring and summer.
Along with shooting more group scenes and a blowbang, Bell is hoping to film her first anal scene in June or July.
“I’m training right now,” Bell says. “I’m getting ready. I don’t have the type of body that can do anal regularly, so it’s going to take some time. There are definitely some big things in the works. I’ve got a checklist and I keep adding to it.”
Bell is confident that Spiegler will help turn her dreams into a reality. A Portland native, Bell says she spoke with Spiegler upon entering the industry in 2019 at age 23.
“I remember him being like, ‘You have to be prepared to do everything.’” Bell says. “I probably wasn’t ready then. Now things are a little bit different. I’m not as new. I don’t feel as scared. It’s not like I’m getting thrown to the wolves or starting fresh.”
Spiegler says Bell’s maturity and confident aura are among her strongest traits. He said he and Jiries have also been taken aback by her appearance.
“I know it sounds cliche, but she’s truly one of those girls who is prettier when you meet her in person,” Spiegler says. “George and I agree: she looks just as good without makeup as she does with it on. She has that all-natural look that so many people love.”
Bell says she consulted with performer/director—and longtime Spiegler girl—Casey Calvert before making her decision. Bell had a prominent role in Calvert’s highly-praised film “Going Up,” which took home the trophy for Feature Movie of the Year at the 2023 XBIZ Awards in January.
“Casey Calvert is the No. 1 Spiegler girl I look up to,” Bell says. “Before I got into porn, I didn’t know Casey too well. I definitely looked up to the really big Spiegler girls like Riley Reid and Sasha Grey.
“But being around Casey and getting to watch her experience with Spiegler and how she’s transitioned into the fucking powerhouse that she is … it really stood out to me. I respect her opinion. She’s an OG.”
Excited as she is to be with Spiegler, Bell says leaving her former agency, OC Modeling, was bittersweet. Bell says she called OC president Sandra McCarthy last month to deliver the news.
“I’d been with her for three years,” Bell says. “I called her and I said, ‘I think it’s important that you hear my voice. It’s different than sending an email. You guys are the ones that convinced me to move to LA from Portland. You’ve always been there for me as an agent the past three years. I’ll always value what you’ve given to me and what you’ve shown me. I appreciate you.’
“It’s true. OC is all I’ve ever known. They’re the reasons that I’ve so many great opportunities thus far. I had to show my appreciation and respect for that.”
