A spokesman at the Douglas County (Co.) Jail told PornCrush that Flynn has been charged with third-degree assault and domestic violence. He was released Saturday afternoon on a personal recognizance bond and is due back in court on Aug. 26.
May said Saturday that she's been granted an order of protection and a restraining order against Flynn and that local authorities have indicated they will increase patrol near her home.
May told PornCrush that Friday’s altercation wasn’t the first time Flynn—who she’s dated since November—has been verbally and physically abusive. She said friends began urging her to break up with Flynn shortly after he moved into her home in February.
“I’ve been struggling with so much depression because of him,” May 31, said. “My mental health has been destroyed. When you hear that recording, you can piece together context on how he treated me and how he spoke to me so many times besides just today.”
May—an AVN Female Performer of the Year nominee in 2023 and 2024—was one of the adult industry’s top all-around talents when she stepped away in 2025 to pursue a career in boxing. She defeated Lindsey Michele in her debut in April and is currently training for her next fight.
Flynn, 32, is a three-time Male Performer of the Year nominee who stopped shooting more than a year ago. May said, Flynn, a staunch Republican, hoped to pursue a career in politics.
“He shouldn’t be in porn, and he shouldn’t be in politics,” May said. “Nothing about that would be good for any woman, any gay person, or any liberal. And those are his words.”
