Shortly after the music stopped—after the margarita machine had been turned off and the final joint had been rolled—Austin King lounged in a hot tub last September with a handful of industry types and tried to relax.

But he couldn’t.

As successful as the First Annual PornCrush Pool Party had been, King recognized the daunting but exciting new challenge now facing him.

How to make it better.

“The turnout was so strong last year with nearly 300 guests,” King says. “And the vibe was so upbeat from start to finish. I really thought we nailed it. But there are always ways to improve. After a year of planning and soliciting a ton of feedback, I’m confident the sequel will be on another level.”

Indeed, one year later, nearly 500 performers, producers, agents, and media members have RSVP’d for Saturday’s Second Annual Porn Crush Pool Party in Reseda. The industry-only event returns to the lavish 4,500-square-foot shoot house that helped make the 2023 version such a success.

BANG!—which continues to distinguish itself as one of the elite studios in porn—has signed on as a Premium Sponsor for the second straight year. Midway through the party, the company will host “Porn Star Games,” a series of fun challenges for performers MC’d by Ryan Pownall and “refereed” by last year’s winner, Brenna McKenna.

“PornCrush has made a huge splash in the adult industry the past few years,” Steve Legos, BANG’s Chief Marketing Officer, said. “It’s a strong, reputable brand that BANG! is proud to associate with. We couldn’t be happier to help them create—once again—such a fun environment for industry people to come together and have a good time.”

Gold sponsors include Hustler, Nympho, PornDude Casting, Tadpole X Studios, Inked Vixens, Elizabeth Skylar, and Alexis Fawx.

“I’m super excited to come out to LA from Vegas to hang out with my industry friends and also make some new ones,” said Fawx, AVN’s 2023 MILF Performer of the Year. “The RSVP list is absolute fire.”

With an open bar, frozen margaritas, and made-to-order tacos from Taqueria Tapatio, guests will find plenty to eat and drink after arriving and being photographed on the Bikini Pink Carpet.

Dogtown Enterprises, a Venice-based company specializing in hemp-derived products, will have staff members to roll joints and operate a dabbing station for concentrates. And towels will be provided for performers who want to dip in the hot tub or swim in the heated pool.

“Not enough people actually swim at pool parties,” King laughed. “One of our main goals this year is to actually get people in the pool. It’s going to happen—even if I have to start throwing people in!”

Stay Golden Photo Booth will be on hand for the second straight year to snap pictures that guests can have sent directly to their phones for immediate social content. Prints will also be available.

One of the biggest things missing from last year’s party, King said, was a DJ. Thanks to the generosity of the sponsors, King has hired Kunt Cobain—a rising star in the LA music scene—to spin tunes on Saturday.

Perhaps the most exciting addition is a 12x12-foot stage showcasing performers competing in a twerk contest, a wet t-shirt contest, and a bikini contest. Each event will feature a group of hand-picked porn star judges, and prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers.

Talent Testing Services (TTS) and PASS have also donated certificates for free tests, which will be awarded via a raffle.

"Having a stage for these events will give it a big-time feel and place the performers on the pedestal they deserve,” King said. “It should all make for some great social media content for everyone involved.”

King said his main goal for Saturday’s party—besides convincing people to swim—was to create the same unity and inclusivity that permeated throughout the crowd in 2023. He noted the guest list includes performers from all genres with varying experience levels.

“Last year, I noticed AVN Performer of the Year Kira Noir and Best New Starlet like Chanel Camryn talking with people who have been in the business for less than a month,” King said. “There were no stigmas, no judgments. Whether it was males or females, cisgender or trans, agents or directors
everyone felt welcome. That’s what I hope to see again Saturday.

“I realize this business—like many others—can often be cliquish and catty. But at the end of the day, this industry is one big family. Not everyone knows each other, but they know each other. Hopefully, this event serves as a reminder of that.”

The guest list for Saturday’s party has reached capacity and is now closed. Guests are strongly encouraged to take an Uber or Lyft to the event, as parking is extremely limited.

“If at all possible, don’t drive,” King said. “Take a ride share and makes things easier (and safer) for yourself and everyone else.”

Make sure to check PornCrush early next week for pictures and other content from the party.
