PornCrush photographer Jay David honored at Urban X Awards

Jay David—whose work has helped PornCrush become the adult industry’s No. 1 destination for red carpet and event photo galleries—captured the trophy for Best Event Photographer at the Urban X Awards Sunday in Los Angeles.
David began contributing to PornCrush in November of 2023 and has been the lead photographer for the site ever since. His work can also be found on his website jaysplayhouse.com
“Our web traffic has more than quadrupled over the past two years, and much of that is because of Jay David,” PornCrush owner/editor Austin King said. “His photos are among the best in the industry, and that’s largely because of who Jay is as a person. Everyone loves Jay. He makes people feel comfortable in front of the camera. I’m proud to have him associated with the PornCrush brand.”
David said he was caught off guard upon hearing his named called during Sunday’s awards ceremony.
“I wasn’t really expecting it,” David said. “It was a full-circle moment for me. The first adult event I ever went to was the Urban X Awards back in 2019 when Gia Milana (Shay Evans at the time) was hosting. This was back when I was a nobody, just a fan at the event. Never did I think I’d be receiving an award for my photography from the very first show I attended.”
