Brittney Kade leaves studio porn; reigning AVN Trans POY to focus on self-produced content
Brittney Kade has shot her last studio porn scene.
At least for the immediate future.
AVN’s reigning Trans Performer of the Year said Monday that she is retiring from mainstream porn so she can channel all of her energy toward her OnlyFans platform and her personal website, BrittneyKade.com.
“After winning Trans Performer of the Year at AVN, I felt like I’d accomplished such a huge milestone,” Kade told PornCrush. “I felt like I’d climbed my way to the top of the industry, and now I’m ready to enjoy the view.
“I’m excited about having the freedom to create my own scenes that truly reflect my vision. I’m so excited for what’s coming next.”
Much like trans icon Emma Rose—who made a similar announcement in January—Kade is stepping away from studio shoots at a time when her popularity has never been higher. Her Performer of the Year trophy was one of three awards Kade won at the AVN ceremony in January. Two months later she took home top honors at TransErotica Awards (TEAs),
where she was named Hardcore Performer of the Year.
Away from the camera, Kade has been a strong ambassador for the industry, sharing her transition story in numerous podcast and print interviews while also gaining mainstream exposure through her musical collaborations with trans pop star Chase Icon.
As her profile continues to rise, it should come as no surprise that Kade is seeking forms of fulfillment that extend beyond studio porn.
Still, that’s not to say that Kade—AVN’s Best Trans Newcomer in 2023—is finished having sex on camera. Her personal website is already stocked with more than 50 scenes and she vows there are plenty more to come.
“I’ll be pumping out new videos constantly,” Kade said. “But I’ll have full creative control that will allow me to show off my directing and producing abilities. I’ll still be working with all of the top adult stars, the only difference is that the content will only be available at BrittneyKade.com.”
